News Valuation (NV) is a tool developed by Andi for
measuring the effectiveness of PR activities.
The measurement is implemented for the following
characteristics of articles:
1. Ad Equivalency: Comparable value for an
advertisement of the same size.
2. Dominance: Reflecting the dominance of an
article towards a company/product/brand.
3. Tone: Reflecting the tone of an article
towards a company/product/brand.
4. Style: Comprising the following elements:
+ Front page: Is the article located
on the front page?
+ Picture: Does the article have
picture of a company/product/brand?
+ Color/BW: Is the article colorful or
black and white?
+ Headline: Does the
company/product/brand appear in the article headline?
+ First Paragraph Mention:
Does the company/product/brand appear in
the first paragraph of the article? |
